Estaban Saenz found guilty

On January 18th, 2013, Judge Gordon Lustfeldt convicted Estaban Saenez, 33 of Watseka, of delivery of a controlled substance.
Investigators from the Iroquois County Sheriff’s Department and Watseka Police Department videotaped Saenz selling Heroin to a Confidential Informant near the Nettie Davis Elementary School in Watseka. Saenz was captured as part of a narcotics sting operation that netted 25 arrests.
Saenz’s criminal history includes convictions for Burglary, Theft and Driving Offenses. at the time of the offense, Saenz was on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Assistant State’s Attorney Alex O’Brien represented the People at trial. Attorney Lance Camp, who was appointed in the case, represented Saenz.
Saenz’s sentencing is scheduled for March 4th, 2013 at 9:30AM before Judge Gordon Lustfeldt.
