The Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department (FIPHD) is dissolving on June 30, 2014.  However, the good news is that both Ford and Iroquois Counties will open new independent health departments on July 1, 2014.  The services that you have come to expect and appreciate from the FIPHD will be offered at both new health departments.  Both new health departments are creating more community alliances that will allow them to serve their respective communities even better.

While the new health departments are preparing for their openings, the FIPHD will continue to serve its clients through Wednesday, June 25, 2014.  At which time the FIPHD in both Watseka and Paxton will close for clients in order to prepare to serve clients beginning on July 1, 2014.  They apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but it is necessary to make sure everything is in place to open July 1, 2014.  Both staffs are receiving the most up-to-date trainings and are looking forward to this new beginning of serving their communities.

If you are a client of the FIPHD, you will be notified from the department that is providing services as to where you will receive your services beginning July 1st.
