Fire Call - 01/02/2013 9:30PM - Hoopeston Fire Department responded to a call at the 400 block E Washington for a Roof on fire of a residence. Fire started from embers burning in the fireplace. Fire was extinguished.

Warrant Arrest - 01/03/2013 10:48PM - Megan K Fier, 33 of Hoopeston at the 500 block of E Main was arrested for outstanding Vermilion County Warrant Failure To Appear/Traffic. She posted $290 cash bond and was released with a new court date.
