Saturday, January 26th, 2013
DUI, Blood Alcohol Over .08 and Improper Lane Usage - 01/26/2013 1:26PM - Donald A Shields, 70 of Rossville was taken into custody on the charges of DUI, Blood Alcohol Over .08 and Improper Lane Usage and later released after posting $100 bond.
Warrant Arrest - 01/26/2013 8:30PM - Mason R Livingston 24, of Hoopeston turned himself in at HPD for outstanding Vermilion County warrant for Failure To Appear/Domestic Battery. He posted $375 bond and was released with a new court date.
Warrant Arrest - 01/26/2013 8:30PM Olivia a Strawser, 20 of Hoopeston turned herself in at HPD for outstanding Vermilion County warrant for Failure To Appear/Traffic. She posted $375 bond and was released with a new court date.
Fire Call - 01/26/2013 9:10PM - Hoopeston Fire Department was dispatched to the 700 block of North 7th Street for smoke coming out of an apartment building. Upon arrival food was found to be burning on the stove. No injuries were reported.

Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Paraphernalia - 01/27/2013 12:43AM - Edgar Cotton, 20 of Hoopeston was arrested after cannabis and paraphernalia was found in the residence that he was staying at in the 200 block of North Market. He was brought to HPD were he was processed and released. he was cited for 2 city ordinance violations of possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Warrant Arrest - 01/27/2013 12:38PM - Donald E Henry, 52 of Hoopeston turned himself in at HPD for an outstanding Vermilion County warrant Failure To Appear/Driving While license Suspended. He posted $375 bond and was released with a new court date.
Residential Burglary - 01/27/2013 1:12PM - A 51 year old Hoopeston man reported unknown subject(s) entered his residence in the 400 block of East Honeywell and removed medications without his permission.
Fire Call - 01/27/2013 3;26PM - Hoopeston Fire Department responded to the 800 block of South 4th Street for an activated Carbon Monoxide Detector.
Case Solved - 01/27/2013 1:45PM - Kevin L Drennan, 55 of Hoopeston was charged with Filing a False Police report after an investigation into a report made by him January 23rd, 2013 alleging an unknown person stole his medication from his residence. he was transported to PSB to await arraignment with a judge.
