Details: Glass portion of the business’ front door was broken out by unknown subject(s).
Theft H13-3061 Linares

Location: 800 block E. Elm St.
Victim: 57 year old Hoopeston man
Details: Several solar lights were stolen from the victim’s yard.
Warrant Arrest H13-3064 Cade
Date & Time: June 8, 2013 12:40pm
Location: HPD 301 W. Main St.
Arrested: Jose S. Colunga (67) of Hoopeston
Details: Subject turned himself in on an outstanding Vermilion Co warrant (13TR2302)
for Failure To Appear for traffic. He was released on an OR (Own Recognizance)
bond with a new court date.

Details: Fire Department dispatched for an activated alarm. Alarm was found
to be false.

Arrested: Anthony Chandler (31) of Hoopeston
Details: Mr. Chandler was arrested on city ordinance violation of Disobeying Police
when he went back to a residence after being warned not to by police.
Subject was given a notice to appear in city court and then released.

Arrested: Jessica Lynn Matthews (21) of Hoopeston
Details: Suspect was taken into custody on the above charge after officers observed
her driving. She was later released after posting $120 cash bond. She was
also ticketed for Driving An Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
Driving While License Suspended H13-3090 Steeples

Details: During a traffic stop, a computer check of the driver revealed his
Illinois driver’s license to be suspended. He was transported to HPD

Battery (city ordinance) H13-3096 Steeples

Complainant: 32 year old Hoopeston man
Arrested: Aaron M. Linares (30) of Hoopeston
Details: Subject was charged with Battery after victim and witnesses said he
punched victim on the head several times. He was issued a
Notice To Appear in Hoopeston city court.
Domestic Battery H13-3098 V13-5881 Kelnhofer
Date & Time: June 9, 2013 10:26pm
Location: 100 blk E Lincoln
Complainant: 26 year old Hoopeston female
Arrested: Anthony Chandler (32) of Hoopeston
Details: At above time and date, HPD officers were called to the residence in reference
to a domestic situation. Mr. Chandler was arrested for domestic battery and was
taken to HPD. He was processed and then transported to the Public Safety Building
in Danville for arraignment.
City Ordinance Violation H13-3100 Kelnhofer

Arrested: Justin Lewis (23) of Hoopeston
Details: HPD was called to the report of a fire in the area. Upon arrival, Mr. Lewis
was arrested on city ordinance violation of restrictions for burning trash. He
was taken to HPD where he was processed and then released with a city

Details: HFD was called out when HPD officers discovered an illegal burn in
the area. Fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.
