Warrant Arrest H14-0482 V14-00884 Steeples
Date & Time: February 1, 2014 10:09am
Location: 300 block N. Eighth Ave
Arrested: Stacie A Knight (32) of Hoopeston
Details: Subject was taken into custody on two outstanding arrest warrants:  Vermilion
County 2012CM799 Failure To Appear for Violation Hearing and Iroquois County
2013CM208 Failure To Appear for Resisting Arrest.  She was later transported
to the PSB in Danville in lieu of $2,000 bond on the Iroquois warrant and $431
on the Vermilion warrant.

Disorderly Conduct/City Ordinance H14-0486       Showers
Date & Time: February 1, 2014     2:36pm
Location: Parkview Court
Complainant: 29 year old Hoopeston man
Arrested: Cheryl L Burkert (32) of Hoopeston
Details: A Notice To Appear in Hoopeston City Court was issued to Burkert after a
citation for Disorderly Conduct was signed by the complainant for loud music.

Possession of Cannabis H14-0488 Welch
Date & Time: February 1, 2014 6:30pm
Location: 500 blk W Maple St
Arrested: Matthew Cannon (33) of Hoopeston
Details: Mr. Cannon was arrested and given a notice to appear in Hoopeston city court
after HPD officers found cannabis in his pocket during a search.

Purchase/Acceptance of Alcohol by Minor H14-0489 Showers
Date & Time: February 1, 2014 8:45pm
Location: 615 E Orange HAHS
Arrested: 2 (16) year old juveniles
1 (17) year old juvenile
Details: All 3 juveniles were arrested and given city citations when they were found
to have been in possession of alcohol on school property.  They were brought
to HPD and later released to a guardian.

Disobeying Police Officer H14-0498 Welch
Date & Time: February 2, 2014     2:01pm
Location: 300 blk E Lincoln
Arrested: Joshua J Witty (30) of Hoopeston
Details: Officers responded to the above area after a complaint of a subject trying to enter
house.  Upon arrival subject was told to remove himself from property by
request of homeowner. After several attempts by officer, he still refused.  He
was taken into custody and transported to HPD where he was issued
a city ordinance citation for Disobeying a Police Officer and released.

Location: 1022 W Penn St Casey’s
Details: FHD were dispatched in reference to a large gas spill.  No injuries
