Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police and Gilman Police have arrested Andrew M Condon, 33 rural Ashkum, in connection wit the murder of Jonathan Rubin that occured on October 27th at the Gilman Shell gas station.

On November 1st, Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police and Crime Scene Investigators from the Illinois State Police executed a search warrant at Condon’s residence and property in rural Ashkum and seized several items.  Those items along with items seized from the crime scene were delivered to the Illinois State Police Crime Lab for analysis.  A forensic match was determined which led to the arrest warrant being issued.  The investigation is ongoing.

Condon is being held in the Iroquois County Jail on a $1,000,000.00 bond.
