News Release for Thursday, January 10th, 2013
On January 8th, 2013 Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police arrested Patrick Lueck 50, of Gilman. Lueck was charged with Criminal Trespass to Real Property. Lueck was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he later posted bond and was released.
On January 9th, 2013 Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police arrested a 14 year old juvenile from Onarga. The juvenile was charged with Aggravated Battery after becoming involved in an altercation with the staff at the Onarga Academy. The juvenile was transported to the Iroquois county Jail and later transported to the Danville Juvenile Detention Center to await court appearance.
On January 9th, 2013 Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police arrested Joshua Nolan age 21, of Rantoul. Nolan was wanted on an Iroquois County warrant for failure to appear on the charge of Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor. Nolan was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond.
On January 9th, 2013 Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident on Blue Bell Bend Rd. just south of Watseka. According to the Police report, Joshua D Ellis, 18 of Watseka was traveling southbound on Blue Bell Bend Rd. when he failed to negotiate a curve and slid out of control on the snow and ice covered roadway. Ellis’ vehicle entered the ditch where it struck at least two trees causing more than $500 in damages. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
