Accidents

10-12 Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident at the intersection of 2150 E Rd and 3300 N Rd.  Jennifer A. Duvall, 29 Beaverville was traveling south bound on 2150 E Rd when she failed to reduce speed in time for the stop sign at the intersection and her vehicle skidded through the intersection and struck the embankment on the south side of the intersection.  Duvall who had returned to her home after the accident was transported by Ambulance from her residence to Riverside Hospital for treatment.  Her vehicle sustained over $1500 in damage and she was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to avoid an accident

10-12 Sheriff’s Police investigated a Car vs Deer accident on 500 N Rd near U.S. Hwy 45.  Drake C. Sanders, 18 Buckley was traveling West bound on 500 N approximately 1/3 of a mile East of US Hwy 45 Rd. when a Deer entered the roadway striking Sander’s vehicle on the left side.  No injuries were reported and his vehicle sustained over $1500 in damage

10-12 Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident on Co. Rd. 3000 N Rd near U.S. Hwy 45/52.  Lisa M. Smith, 44 Bourbonnais was traveling East bound on 3000 N when an object appeared in the roadway.  Smith swerved to miss the object on the road and her vehicle left the roadway and struck the embankment.  No injuries were reported and no citation was issued.  Her vehicle sustained over $1500 in damage

10-13 Sheiff’s Police investigated a Car vs Deer accident on 2950 N Rd near 800 E Rd.  Michael L. Prairie, 22 Clifton was traveling West bound on 2950 N approximately 1/2 mile West of 800 E Rd when a Deer entered the roadway striking Prairie’s vehicle on the righst side.  No injuries were reported and his vehicle sustained over $500 in damage
