Accidents

11-16 Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle traffic accident that occurred at Co, Rd. 1850 N and 1917 E.  According to the report, Terri L. Anderson, 52 Kentland, IN was traveling west bound on 1850 North Co. Rd. delivering mail attempted to drive next to the mailbox when her vehicle slid on the wet grass and struck the mailbox and post at 1917 E.  Anderson’ vehicle sustained over $1500 in damage as well as damaging the mailbox and post.  No citation was issued

11-18 Ernest L. Lumpkins, 39 Momence turned himself in at the Iroquois County Jail.  Lumpkins was wanted for Driving While License Revoked.  Lumpkins was sentenced to 180 Days in Iroquois County Jail

11-19 Sheiff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident that occurred on 1500 N Co. Rd. at 1625 E.  According to the report, Pamela J. Williams, 48 Watseka was traveling east bound on 1500 North Co. Rd. When Williams’ vehicle entered a deep drainage ditch where her vehicle overturned and came to a rest in the bottom of the ditch on its roof.  Williams was taken to IMH where she was treated for injuries.  Williams vehicle sustained over $1500 in damage.
