7/20 Sheriff’s Police investigated a traffic accident at Casey’s in Crescent City.  According to the report, Tammy L. Popham, 53 Crescent City was backing from a parking spot and did not see another vehicle parked next to her owned by John M. Juergens, 51 Bourbonnais.  Popham struck Juergens’ vehicle causing more than $1500 in damages.  No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

7/21 Sheriff’s Police investigated a traffic accident at the intersection of 800 E Rd and 800 N Rd in rural Buckley.  According to the report, George A. Stevens, 37 Clarence, IL was traveling northbound on 800 N Rd and was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by Olivia A. Janssen, 19 of rural Buckley as the two entered the intersection.  Cornfields obstructed both Stevens and Janssen’s views and also there were no traffic control devices.  No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.  Damages to both vehicles were estimated at more than $1500.
