Marcie Sheridan stepped into the role of Hoopeston Multi-Agency director effective on Tuesday, filling the shoes of Chalmers Flint who is retiring.
“The opportunity to become director of the Multi-Agency will keep me close to my family and community,” Sheridan said.
Previous to her position with KC-CASA, Sheridan spent 10 years as the Iroquois County advocacy coordinator and legal medical advocate with Iroquois Sexual Assault Services (ISAS) in Watseka and two years as a child advocate at the YWCA Women’s Shelter in Danville. She also is involved in the CrossRoads Youth Center in Milford as treasurer and volunteer for the organization.
Multi-Agency board member Dan Goodrum added, “Like a sigh of relief.”
