About 570 Hoopeston households willed be surveyed as part of a University of Illinois program for graduate and advanced undergraduate students.

Assistant Professor Bev Wilson, of the U of I Department of Urban and Regional Planning and Zachary Kennedy of the U of I Extension, announced the program at Tuesday’s Hoopeston City Council meeting.
The survey asks 30 questions ranging from whether respondents live and work in Vermilion County to their level of satisfaction with the community to shopping habits.
