Bismarck Henning and Hoopeston Area each won their respective dual meets last night

boys basketball :

Iroquois West 63, Armstrong-Potomac 45
Keaton Zirkle hit four three-pointers en route to 33 points and grabbed 14 boards to lead the host Raiders.  The Trojans were led by Dentler Loschen (17 points) and Wade Rogers (15).


Watseka 47 – Cissna Park 36
Armstrong-Potomac 46 – Milford 25
Paxton-Buckley Loda 93 – Clifton Central 33 
5 players scored in double figures for PBL
Schlarman 50 – Bismarck Henning 38
Hoopeston Area 45 – Chrisman 38 
Tori Smock led the lady Cornjerkers with 13 points.  Olivia Smith chipped in 10.  Shelby Holzinger added 13 rebounds

A busy weekend ahead for WHPO coverage of area basketball - starting tonight as the Milford Bearcats host Watseka.  Then on Saturday we begin coverage of the Vermilion County tournament, starting with the Hoopeston Area girls taking on Georgetown-Ridge Farm at 1:30, then at 5:30 we will bring you boys action:
Hoopeston Area vs. Bismarck-Henning followed by Westville vs. Armstrong-Potomac.
