Girls high school basketball:

@ the Vermilion County Tournament:

A-P 42, Salt Fork 22. Morgan Zindars scored a game-high 18 points for Armstrong-
Potomac, which got 12 points from Erika Sieberns. The Trojans advance to the title
game against Georgetown-Ridge Farm

Georgetown-Ridge Farm 51, Westville 33.

Hoopeston Area 29, Oakwood 24. Haley Dixon had eight points for the
Cornjerkers. Hoopeston Area will play for fifth place tomorrow night.

And congratulations to the Hoopeston Area 7th grade boys basketball
team who won the Vermilion County Tournament Wed. night by defeating
Rossville/Alvin 45-32. The Cornjerkers are 19-2 and move onto the 7th
grade Regional Tournament in Onarga where they are the #1 seed
