Lance Armstrong on Oprah Winfrey show

Lance Armstrong confessed during an interview Monday with Oprah Winfrey that he used performance-enhancing drugs to win the Tour de France.  The interview is to be broadcast Thursday on Winfrey’s OWN network.
Armstrong is also talking with authorities about naming names of others involved in illegal doping and about paying back some of the money paid by the U.S. Postal Service for sponsoring his team in hopes of reducing his lifetime ban.
Armstrong was stripped of all seven Tour de France titles last year

NFL….

Rumors have the Chicago Bears narrowing their coaching search to the Seattle Seahawks’ Offensive Coordinator Darrell Bevell and Marc Trestman – who is currently head coach of the Canadian Football League’s Montreal Alouettes (“aloe – ets”).  Both men are scheduled for 2nd interviews with the team – though the Bears state more candidates could still be considered, which includes Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians.

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher had a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit when he shot his girlfriend nine times and then killed himself in front of his coach and general manager, an autopsy released Monday showed.  The Jackson County Medical Examiner report on Belcher raised new questions about whether police should have done more before the Dec. 1 murder-suicide. Officers found Belcher sleeping in his idling car about five hours earlier, but let him go inside a nearby apartment to sleep it off.
