College Basketball…

#17 Ohio State lost its 4th straight, this time to unranked Nebraska 68 – 62 in Big Ten Action.

Creighton used 21 3-pointers to knock off 4th ranked Villanova 96 – 68

#8 Kansas beat #24 Baylor 78 – 68

HS Girls Basketball….

@ the Vermilion County….

#1 Seed Bismarck-Henning beat Hoopeston Area 37 – 12. 

Armstrong-Potomac beat Geo-RF 45 – 37

Salt Fork handled Oakwood 46 – 22

…the girls continue pool play Wednesday night….the boys pick back up Thursday Night – all at the Palmer Arena in Danville.

also last night…Milford fell to South Newton 35 – 23

…and congratulations to Kayla Goble, daughter of Doug and Susan Goble, of
Hoopeston, recently won first place in the 2014 Pepsi Youth tournament in Champaign.
Goble is a sixth grade student at John Greer Grade School and participates in Wednesday Youth League at Fast Lanes.  Goble advances to state finals to be held May 2-3 in Bloomington.
