Vermilion Co. Tournament – pool play continued despite area school closings….:

Hoopeston Area lost to Bismarck-Henning 45 – 31.  The Blue Devils move onto tomorrow’s nights Championship game against defending champion Westville.  The Cornjerkers will play for 3rd place taking on Salt Fork. 


Head coach John Spezia will return to coach the Milford Bearcats boys’ basketball team Tuesday against Salt Fork after a car accident sidelined him since New Year’s Eve.
Spezia guided the Bearcats to an undefeated start and a Watseka Holiday Tournament championship before suffering an injury sustained in a car accident that fractured his ankle and femur.


don’t forget about the Vermilion County Cheerleading competition that is this Saturday at the Palmer Arena in Danville.  Competition starts at 10am.
