NHL…

The Boston Bruins took a 2-1 series lead with a 2-0 win over the Blackhawks last night in the Stanley Cup Finals.


MLB….

Cardinals beat the Cubs 5 - 2

White Sox beat the Astros 4 - 2


NBA….

game 6 of the NBA Finals is tonight.  San Antonio holds a 3-2 series lead over the Heat.


College Football…

Former Oklahoma State quarterback Wes Lunt confirmed Monday his decision to transfer to Illinois after considering his options for more than a month.

SUMMER SPORT CAMPS:

• Major League Soccer’s Chicago Fire will host a camp for ages 3-high school July 8-12.  This unique opportunity brings professional soccer players and coaches to Hoopeston for individualized instruction.  The camp fee includes a t-shirt, ball, and a free ticket for the player to a Chicago Fire game.  Look up Hoopeston Area Youth Soccer on Facebook or contact Kathy Harding or Kevin Jett for more information.
• Cornjerker football camp:  New Year, New Team, One Dream.
Hoopeston Cornjerker football camp for grades 3-12 will be held July 22-25 at the high school practice field behind the bus parking lot. Grades 3-6 will practice from
9-11 a.m. Grades 7-12 will hit the field from 6-8 p.m. Cost is $15, payable to HAHS Football. Deadline is July 5. Extra t-shirts are $10. For more information, contact
