Illini Farm Toy Show Returns For 9th Event

The Illini Farm Toy Show will once again feature a large number of exhibitors showing and selling their toy collections to young and old alike. This year’s show - January 4-6th, 2013 - will be the ninth annual event sponsored by the Illinois Farm Bureau District 12 Young Leaders and Young Farmers Committees from Vermilion, Douglas, Edgar, and Champaign Counties.

Teens receives probation for attemped bank robbery

A Piper City teenager has been sentenced to 30 months of probation after pleading guilty to attempted aggravated robbery in connection with an incident on Halloween at a Ford County bank.
