Danville man ticketed after car goes airborne

A Danville man was ticekted in connection with an accident last week in Bismarck that inured himself and his passenger according to the News-Gazette.

Doug M. Dawson, 45 was ticketed for failing to reduce speed and disregarding a stop sign, according to Vermilion County Circuit Court records.  Dawson, crashed a 2008 four-door BMW about 8:42pm Thursday after going airborne over the railroad tracks on Holloway Street in Bismarck, according to the Vermilion Sheriff’s Department.  Dawson was airlifted to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana and his passenger, Mindy R. McKonkey of Bismarck was taken to Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville by Bismarck Ambulance personnel.
