Hoopeston Police Department Report

Warrant Arrest H14-0325 V14-00556 Tate
Date & Time: January 21, 2014 8:15am
Location: Hoopeston Area High School 615 E. Orange
Arrested: 16 year old Hoopeston male
Details: Subject was taken into custody on an outstanding Vermilion County juvenile
warrant (2011JD137) and later transported to the Juvenile Detention Facility
in Danville.

Traffic Accident H14-0326 Drollinger
Date & Time: January 21, 2014 8:25am
Location: 300 block S. First Ave (Hoopeston Foods Shipping docks)
Unit 1: 2003 Volvo semi driven by Kevin E Brummel of Yorkville, IL
Unit 2: 2002 Mack semi owned by Central Illinois Transportation of Kankakee, IL
Details: Unit 2 was parked at the loading dock and was struck by Unit 1 as the driver
was attempting to back into the docks.  No damage to Unit 1.  Unit 2 had a
broken driver’s side window.  No injuries, no citations, both units insured.

Unit 1: 2012 Hyundai UT driven by Amanda J Johnson (F) of Hoopeston (34)
Unit 2: 2003 GMC 4dr driven by Isaiah Santillana (M) of Hoopeston (18)
Details:  At the above time and date HPD respond to accident scene,  Unit 1 struck
Unit 2 at the intersection as both units were Northbound,  due to the icy
road conditions, Unit 1 could not stop and slide into Unit 2’s rear end.
No tickets, No injuries, and both were insured.

 

Domestic Battery H14-0335   V14-0570 Steeples
Time & Date: January 21, 2014   8:20pm
Location: 500 block S. Second Ave Hoopeston
Complainant: 27 year old Hoopeston Woman
Arrested: Cannon, David Todd (34) of Hoopeston (M)
Details: At the above time and date, HPD was requested for a battery had occurred in
the residence.  Cannon was located and taken into custody transported to HPD
processed and then transferred to PSB to await bond hearing before a judge.
