Aggravated Domestic Battery H14-2250 V14-4050 Kelnhofer
Date & Time: May 8, 2014   12:59am
Location: 400 blk S Market
Complainant: 59 year old Hoopeston male
Arrested: Irvin Warner (60) Hoopeston
Details: Mr. Warner was arrested during an altercation at the above location.  He was
taken to HPD were he was processed and then later transported to the PSB
to await arraignment.

Location: Lorraine Cinema 2 214 E. Main
Details: HFD was dispatched to mulch on fire next to the building.  Fire was quickly
extinguished.  No reported damage to building.

Location: McDonald’s parking lot
Details: A single vehicle key was found laying in the parking lot.  Owner may identify and
claim at HPD.

Warrant Arrest H14-2254 V14-04062 Cade
Date & Time: May 8, 2014 9:32am
Location: 500 block W. Washington
Arrested: Tierra LM Kelly (18) of Hoopeston
Details: Above named suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding Vermilion Co
arrest warrant (2014CF193) for Methamphetamine Manufacturing.  She was later
transported to the PSB in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Illegal Possession of Controlled Substance   H14-2261   V14-4072 Welch
Time & Date: May 8, 2014   2:40 pm
Location: 500 block W Washington St alley
Arrested: Wernigk, Brian A.  (M) of Penfield (32)
Details: At the above time and date, HPD was requested to check out a suspicious male in
alley way loitering.  When approached by officer the male was found to be in
possession of a narcotic.  Subject was transported to HPD process, and later
transported to PSB Danville to appear before a judge.


Hit & Run Accident H14-2264 Welch
Time & Date: May 8, 2014   4:45 pm
Location: E Elm & Sixth St Hoopeston
Unit 1: Fled Scene   Red Sporty Car
Details: At the above time and date, HPD was requested to respond to investigate the
hit and run accident that destroyed the Yield Sign (Traffic Control Device) at
the intersection, Which is owned by the City of Hoopeston.  Debris was collected
to match to the suspect vehicle.  Investigation continues.
