Arrested: Ruben Espinoza (21) of Hoopeston
Details: Mr. Espinoza was arrested for domestic battery after an incident at the above
location. He was taken to HPD where he was processed and later transported
to the PSB in Danville.
City Ordinance Violation H14-2541 Kruse

Details: Ms. Moore was arrested for city ordinance violation of Purchase/Acceptance
Gift of Liquor by a Person Under 21. She was given a city ticket and court
Traffic Accident H14-2550 Showers

Unit 1: 2003 Lincoln driven by Eileen M Leemon (81) of Hoopeston
Unit 2: 2005 Ford driven by Hali R. Martinez of Hoopeston
Details: Driver of Unit 2 was east bound on Thompson and had entered the intersection
of Thompson and Market and was struck by the driver of Unit 1 who was north
bound on Market. Driver of Unit 1 cited for Failed to Reduce Speed to Avoid Accident . Both units insured. No injuries.
Warrant Arrest H14-2555 V14-4699 Showers

Arrested: Brandon Arms (28) of Ambia, IN
Details: During a traffic stop, a computer check revealed that Mr. Arms had several
outstanding warrants through Vermilion Co. He was taken to HPD, processed
and then later transported to the PSB in Danville in lieu of bond.
Domestic Battery, Criminal Damage to Property (Under) H14-2569 V14-4711 Kruse

Location: 500 blk S Fifth St
Complainant: 35 year old Hoopeston female
Arrested: Claude Bridgman (27) of Hoopeston
Details: HPD receive call about subjects physically fighting. Upon arrival, Mr. Bridgman
was arrested and charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property.
He was taken to HPD, processed and then later transported to the PSB in Danville
City Ordinance Violation H14-2573 Steeples
Date & Time: May 25, 2014 2:28am
Location: 400 blk N Market
Arrested: 15 year old Georgetown juvenile
Details: HPD was called to the residence on a report of loud music. Juvenile was found
with cannabis on his person and was charged with city ordinance violation of
Possession of Cannabis Prohibited. He was taken to HPD and processed.
Subject was released to a parent and given a city citation.
Warrant Arrest H14-2581 V14-4732 Cade
Date & Time: May 25, 2014 1:16pm
Location: 200 block S. Market
Arrested: Joaquin A Granados (19) of Hoopeston
Details: Suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding Vermilion County arrest
warrant (2013CF145) for Failure To Appear. He was later transported to the
PSB in Danville in lieu of $10,000 bond.
Traffic Accident H14-2584 Cade
Time & Date: May 25, 2014 1:50pm
Location: E. Orange & S. Market St
Unit 1: 2005 Chevy SUV driven by Madeline S Fritz (25) of Rossville
Unit 2: 1990 Cadillac driven by Eva David (43) of Hoopeston
Details: Driver of Unit 1 was south bound on Market St, stopped at the intersection and
then proceeded into the intersection, striking Unit 2 who was east bound on
E. Orange St. (State Route 9). Driver of Unit 1 was ticketed for Failure To Yield
and the Driver of Unit 2 was ticketed for No Insurance. Driver of Unit 2 sustained
injuries and was transported to the Hoopeston hospital for treatment.
Warrant Arrest H14-2595 V14-4771 Linares

Location: 500 N. Sixth St.
Arrested: Claude A Bridgman (27) of Hoopeston
Details: Suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding Illinois Department of
Corrections (IDOC) arrest warrant (CH 1405014). He was later transported to
the PSB in Danville to await transport back to IDOC.
Possession of Cannabis H14-2610 Steeples

Location: Seventh Ave/McCracken
Arrested: Jamie E Moore ((39) of Hoopeston
Details: Subject was taken into custody when cannabis was found on his person
during a search as a result of a traffic stop on a vehicle he was a passenger in.
He was transported to HPD where he was later released with a NTA
in Hooepston City court.
