Purchase/Acceptance of Alcohol by Minor     H14-3283                             Linares
Date & Time: June 28, 2014     12:46am
Location: Chestnut/Fourth St
Arrested: 16 year Hoopeston female juvenile
Details: During a traffic stop, juvenile, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was found
to be under the influence of alcohol.  She was transported to HPD where
she was issued a Notice To Appear in Hoopeston court and released to
her father.

Details: HFD was dispatched for a garage on fire.

Unit 1: Unknown – fled scene
Property: Ameren utility pole and residential power line
Details: Unknown vehicle struck an Ameren utility pole, ripping the residential power line
down from a house and damaging the pole.

Complainant: 22 year old Hoopeston female
Arrested: Justin C Jeffries (23) of Hoopeston
Details: Subject was arrested after a physical altercation with the complainant.
He was transported to PSB to see a judge.

Wanted on Warrant (2013TR7148)     H14-3314 Steeples
Date & Time: June 29, 2014 08:30 am
Location: 400 block South Market St
Arrested: Johnson, Beth Ann (F) of Hoopeston (34)
Details: At above time and date the subject was located and taken into custody on
the above listed warrant.  Original Charge:  Driving While License Suspended,
Bond: $5,000 plus $75 court fee.  Subject was transported to HPD for processing,
bond was posted and she was released with new court date.

 

Criminal Damage to Property H14-3323 Dewitt
Date & Time: June 29, 2014   4:31pm
Location: 600 blk E Seminary
Complainant: 45 year old Hoopeston woman
Details: Report was taken for a damaged screen due to someone throwing an
egg at it.


City Ordinance Violation (Battery) H14-3328 Linares
Date & Time: June 29, 2014 6:43pm
Location: 400 blk W Lincoln
Complainant: 18 year old Rantoul male
Arrested: 16 year old Hoopeston female
Details: A female juvenile was arrested after allegedly battering the complainant.  She was brought to HPD and processed.  She was given a city citation for battery and
a court date.  She was later released to a guardian.
