Location: ½ mi south of Route 9 on 1700 East Rd
Details: Hoopeston and Rossville Fire Departments responded to a house on fire at
the above location.  The house was vacant at the time of the fire.  No reported
injuries.

Complainant: 40 year old Hoopeston woman
Details: Complainant reported unknown person(s) spray painted her garage.


Theft over $300 Under $10,000 (vehicle), Driving Reckless, Driving While Suspended
H13-2606 V13-05016 Showers
Date & Time: May 19, 2013     12:12am
Location: Main/Market
Arrested: Justin Lewis (23) of Hoopeston
Details: After receiving several reports about a vehicle driving reckless around town,
Mr. Lewis was located and arrested for the above charges.  Subject was taken
to HPD, where he was processed and then transported to the PSB in Danville.


Domestic Battery, Criminal Damage To Property, M.R.A.I.    H13-2612 Tate
Date & Time: May 19, 2013   10:43am
Location: 700 blk S Market
Complainant: 35 year old Hoopeston woman
Arrested: 16 year old female juvenile
Details: Police were dispatched to the above location for a domestic situation.
Juvenile was taken into custody after a physical altercation with another
family member and causing damage to the house.  A juvenile petition
was filed with Vermilion County State’s Attorney for charges.
