Location: 1000 block W. Main
Victim: 31 year old Hoopeston man
Details: Victim advised that unknown subject(s) damaged his front door window.


Warrant Arrest H13-5677 Cade
Date & Time: October 5, 2013 10:40am
Location: 800 block E. Lincoln
Arrested: 17 year old Hoopeston male
Details: Suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding juvenile arrest warrant
(11JD170) from Vermilion County.  Subject was later transported to the
Juvenile Detention Facility in Danville to await a court appearance.


Domestic Battery H13-5688   V13-10861 Dewitt
Date & Time: October 5, 2013   3:39pm
Location: 400 blk E Honeywell
Complainant: 31 year old Hoopeston woman
Arrested: Travis L Vannote (32) of Hoopeston
Details: Subject was taken into custody after victim complained of a confrontation that
became physical.  He was transported to PSB to see a judge.

Criminal Damage To Property H13-5683 Welch
Date & Time: October 5, 2013   2:50pm
Location: 700 blk S Fifth Street
Complainant: 70 year old Hoopeston man
Details: Complainant advised unknown person(s) threw a pumpkin at his house
causing damage to his siding.

Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse, Aggravated Child Pornography, Resisting Arrest,
    Aggravated Battery to Police Officer, Possession of Cannabis H13-5707 V13-10899 Welch
Date & Time: October 6, 2013 6:49pm
Complainant: Parents of Hoopeston juvenile
Arrested: James Lewis (44) Hoopeston male
Details: The parents of a Hoopeston juvenile advised HPD Officers of an incident that
had occurred earlier that day.  After an investigation, Mr. Lewis was arrested
and charged with the above charges.  He was processed and then taken to
the PSB in Danville to be arraigned.
