Aggravated Battery H13-6085 Morgan
Date & Time: October 26, 2013 10:16pm
Location: 400 block W. Penn
Victim: 28 year old Hoopeston man
Arrested: Myron D. Tools (35) of Hoopeston
Details: After a verbal altercation between the men, the suspect struck the victim in the
face with an unidentified sharp object, cutting the victim’s face.  The suspect fled
the scene and the victim sought treatment at the Hoopeston hospital.  The suspect
was later apprehended by Vermilion County Sheriff’s deputies in Danville and
taken into custody on the above charge.  He is awaiting arraignment in court at
the PSB.

Fire Call H13-6111 Showers
Date & Time: October 27, 2013   8:24pm
Location: 300 blk W Penn
Arrested: Eliseo Zamora (33) of Hoopeston
Details: Received several calls reference a loud boom in the area.  Upon arrival
officers discovered an unattended fire of wood and other miscellaneous
items.  Fire Department was dispatched and fire was extinguished.
Subject was issued a citation for Restrictions for Burning Trash and Refuse.

Aggravated Battery, Theft of Medication, Resisting Arrest, Illegal Consumption of Alcohol
H13-6110 V13-11636 Linares
Date & Time: October 27, 2013     7:55pm
Location: 400 blk E Honeywell
Complainant: 31 year old Hoopeston male
Arrested: Brandy Childers (20) of Hoopeston
Details: Complainant contacted HPD in reference to Ms. Childers refusing to give back
his medication.  She was arrested for all the above charges and taken to HPD.
She was processed and then transported to the PSB in Danville for arraignment.

Restrictions for Burning Trash and Refuse H13-6109 Showers
Date & Time: October 27, 2013 7:35pm
Location: 1200 blk S 2nd Av
Arrested: Jeffrey Funk (39) of Hoopeston
Details: HPD received complainant of illegal burning at the above location.  Upon arrival
subject was burning miscellaneous scrap wood.  He was given a notice to appear
in city court for the above charge.
