Location: 300 block S. Eighth Ave
Details: HFD and HPD units were dispatched to a private residence at the above location
for a report of the smell of smoke in the house.

Warrant Arrest H13-6548 V13-12539 Showers
Date & Time: November 22, 2013 6:58pm
Location: 301 W Main St   HPD
Arrested: Seth Gredy (28) of Hoopeston
Details: Mr. Gredy turned himself into HPD with 2 outstanding traffic warrants through Vermilion County.  He was processed and then transported to the PSB in
Danville in lieu of bond.

Domestic Battery & Warrant Arrest H13-6559   V13-12566 Welch
Date & Time: November 23, 2013   2:45pm
Location: 200 blk W Maple
Complainant: 47 year old Hoopeston man
Arrested: Matthew L Cannon (33) of Hoopeston
Details: Officers responded to above location for a subject who was just battered by
Cannon.  Cannon fled the scene before officers arrived and later located at
another location where he was taken into custody for Domestic Battery.
Computer check revealed he had an outstanding Vermilion County small
claims warrant.  He was transported to PSB on both charges.


Theft of Gasoline H13-6566 Welch
Date & Time: November 23, 2013   7:03pm
Location: 115 E Orange
Complainant: Caseys General Store
Details: Business advised a male subject in a red 4 door vehicle pumped gasoline into his vehicle and drove off without paying.

Domestic Battery, Interfering with the Reporting of Domestic Battery H13-6579 V13-12600 DeWitt
Date & Time: November 24, 2013 8:06pm
Location: 400 blk E Washington
Complainant: 27 year old Hoopeston female
Arrested: Christopher McFadden (30) of Hoopeston
Details: HPD officers were called to a report of a domestic disputed at the above location.
Mr. McFadden was arrested and taken to HPD for processing.  He was charged
with Domestic Battery and Interfering with the Reporting of Domestic Battery.
He was later transported to the PSB in Danville for arraignment.
