ArrestsJune 24th Sheriff’s police arrested Amanda Walters, 32 of Watseka was arrested for Battery and transported to the Iroquois County Jail where she later posted bond and was released
June 25th Sheriff’s police arrested Christopher Panozzo, 31 St. Anne for Domestic Battery and transported to the Iroqouis County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond
June 25th Kameron Miller, Gilman turned himself into the Iroquois County Jail and was sentenced to serve 3 days in Iroquois Jail for Criminal Trespass to land
Accidents
June 25th Sheriff’s police investigated a single vehicle accident on Co. Rd. 500 N near 2700 E Rd. According to police Gina M Werkheiser, 19 Rossville was traveling East bound on 500 N approxiamately a 1/4 of a mile East of 2700 E when she lost control of her vehicle on a gravel road. The vehicle skidded off of the road and entered into a ditch. Werkheiser’s vehicle sustained over $1500 in damage and no injuries were reported or citations were issued.
