Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police Report

News Release
August 6th, 2012

8-1 Gilman police arrested Richard A Willette, 22 Momence and charged him with Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault, transported to Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond
8-3 Sheriff’s Police arrested Amanda M Collins, 28 Ashkum she was wanted on an Iroquois County Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of Driving While License Revoked and was also found to be wanted on 2 Kankakee County warrants for failure to appear on the charges of Bank Fraud, Driving Under the Influence and Driving While License Suspended she was tranpsorted to the Iroquois County Jail where she remains in lieu of bond
8-3 Sheriff’s police arrested Thomas D Wilson, 48 Fowler, IN and was charged with Aggravated Battery after he was involved in a physical altercation at a local bar where a knife was reportedly involved, he was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he later posted bond after a bond hearing was held
8-5 Sheriff’s police arrested Dwayne A Kent, 24 and Sheila Mclaughlin, 23 both of Donovan both were wanted on Iroquois County warrants for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver within 1000ft of a school and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis Sativa Plants and both were then charged with resisting a peace officer and were transported to the Iroqouis County Jail and remain in lieu of bond

8-3 Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle rollover in rural Sheldon, Adam Lane 29, Shelfon was northbound on county road 2800 East at approximately 1550 North when his vehicle entered the grass on the west side of the roadway he continued to travel northbound in the west ditch where he lost control of the vehicle just before re-entering the roadway.  The vehicle slid sideways across the pavement and entered the ditch on the east side of the raodway where it struck the embankment and overturned.  Lane was taken to Iroquois Memorial Hospital where his condition in unknown, Lane was cited for Improper Lane Usage and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident and the accident does remain under investigation
