Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police Report

October 28, 2013

10-24 Nicholas J. Rath, 22 Beaverville turned himself in to Iroquois County Jail.  Rath was wanted on an Iroquios County Warrant for Failure to Appear for Theft.  Rath was leter released on a recognizance bond

10-25 Sheiff’s Police returned from St. Fancois County Jail in Charleston, MO with Jacquel D. Williams, 20 Charleston, MO.  William’s was wanted on an Iroquois County Warrant for Manufacturing and Delivering of Cannabis 30-500 grams.  Williams was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he later posted bond

Accidents
10-25 Sheiff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident.  According to the report, David A. Steiner, 58 Paxton was traveling North on Co. Rd. 300 E just north of 000N. Rd when a deer entered the roadway.  Steiner swerved to avoid hitting the deer and lost control of his vehicle, it then entered the ditch on the West side of the road.  No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.  Steiner’s vehicle sustained more than $1500 in damage

10-27 Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident.  According to the report, Gosie M. Thursh, 16 Milford was traveling West on Co. Rd. 1000 near 1380 E when her passenger side tires left the roadway.  Thursh overcorrected which caused the vehicle to over turn in the roadway.  No injuries were reported or citations were issued.  Thursh’a vehicle sustained more than $1500 in damage
