Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police Report

Sheriff’s Police arrested Tyler W. Campe, 25 Loda.  He was wanted on an Iroquois County warrant for failure to appear on the charge of Driving While License Suspended.  He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond

Jason C. Hamdon, 30 Oak Park, IL turned himself in at the Iroquois County Jail.  He was wanted on an Effingham County Traffic warrant, he posted the required bond and was released

Sheriff’s Police arrested Travis Creveling, 21 Buckley.  Creveling was charged with Driving While License Suspended.  He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he posted the required bond and was released

Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident and according to the report, David K. Hansen, 58 rural Clifton was traveling eastbound on 2950 N Rd when he approached a bridge and struck a large snowdrift on the bridge, which pulled him towards the bridge.  His vehicle struck the bridge again with the right rear wheel, causing the wheel to break off.  No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.  Hansen’s vehicle sustained more than $1500 in damages

Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident and according to the report, J.E. Thompson, 34, rural Ashkum was traveling east on Main St. when he lost control of his vehicle on the ice covered road and spinned off to the North side of the roadway where the vehicle collided with a tree.  No injuries were reported however, Thompson was cited for Driving While License Suspended.  His vehicle estimated at more than $1500.

Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident and according to the report, Meghan L. Gray, 18 Clifton was traveling south on 1200 E Rd approaching the intersection of 3000 N Rd when she applied the brakes and her vehicle began to slide on the ice-covered roadway.  The vehicle continued to slide until it struck a stop sign at the southeast corner of the intersection.  No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.  Damages estimated at more than $1500

Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident and according to the report, Delmar E. Gray, 70 Clifton was traveling north on 700 E Rd when his vehicle began to slide on the ice-covered roadway and slid into a snow-covered ditch where it rolled over onti its roof before coming to a rest.  No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.  Damages estimated at more than $1500

Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident and according to the report, Paul A. Martinez, 32 Onarga was traveling east on County R 9 where he hit a patch of black ice on the roadway and lost control of the vehicle entered the north ditch where he struck a road sign before coming to a rest.  No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.  Damages estimated at less than $500
