Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police Report

On Thursday, May 29th the Sheriff’s investigated a two-vehicle accident on 3000N Rd at the intersection on 2700E Rd.  The report stated that Ruby Noel, 28, rural Beaverville, was traveling south on county road 2700E when she disobeyed at traffic sign.  Noel entered the intersection while a vehicle driven by Mariah Battering, 19, Beaverville was traveling east bound on county road 3000N.  Battering struck Noel causing Noel to hit the ditch and stop sign.  Both were transported by Riverside EMT’s to Iroquois Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.  Noel was ticketed for operating an uninsured vehicle and disobeying a traffic control device.
