Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police Report

July 28, 2014

7/23 Sheriff’s Police investigated a two vehicle accident on Co. Rd. 2400N at the intersection of Co. Rd. 1000E.  According to the report, Scott W. Kuchel Sr. 52 Gilman was traveling North on Co. Rd. 1000E approaching the intersection of Co. Rd. 2400N.  A vehicle driven by Jennifer L. Schunke, 43 Gilman was traveling West on Co. Rd. 2400N approaching the same intersection.  Kuchel failed to stop at the stop sign and struck Schunke’s vehicle resulting in damages greater than $1500.  Kuchel reported no injuries, but Schunke was transported to Riverside Hospital by Riverside EMS and treated for minor injuries.  Kuchel was issued a citation for disobeying a stop sign

7/25 Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident on Co. Rd. 2850E near Co. Rd. 1100N.  According to police reports, Ana G. Suarez-Lopez, 35 of Watseka was traveling north on Co. Rd. 2850E approximately 1/2 mile north of Co. Rd. 1100N when she lost control of her vehicle.  Suarez-Lopez entered the east ditch and overturned into a bean field.  She was transported to IMH by Milford EMS where she was treated for minor injuries.  The damages were greater than $1500 and no citations were issued

7/26 Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident on Co. Rd. 3100E near Co. Rd. 2500N.  According to reports, Sara C. Munson, 23 Donovan was traveling north on Co. Rd. 3100E when a deer struck the rear, passenger door of her vehicle.  Munson and her passenger reported no injuries and no citiations were issued.  Damages were greater than $1500

7/27 Sheriff’s Police investigated a single vehicle accident on Co. Rd. 3100E near Co. Rd. 2600N.  According to reports, Craig D. Allie, 18 Donovan was traveling south on Co. Rd. 3100E when a deer ran into the path of his vehicle.  Allie struck the deer resulting in damages greater than $1500.  Allie reported no injuries and no citations were issued

7/25 Sheriff’s Police returned from Kankakee County Jail with Richard J. Tolmer, 41 Bradley.  Tolmer was wanted on an Iroquois County warrant charging him with failure to appear on a theft charge.  Tolmer was transported to Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond
