KAMEG Arrest

On Saturday, August 31, 2013, at approximately 12:43 a.m., while conducting a drug investigation in the 500 block of East Cypress Street, Kankakee, IL,  KAMEG agents arrested Craig Dorsey Jr.,  age 26, of 623 Double Jack Street, Bourbonnais, IL.  Dorsey was arrested after agents located 13 clear plastic bags containing 49.3 grams of cannabis and a digital scale in his vehicle.  The cannabis had an estimated street value of $986.00.  Dorsey was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver (30-500 grams).  Dorsey was transported to and detained at the Jerome Combs Detention Center.

KAMEG is comprised of personnel from the Bourbonnais, Bradley, and Kankakee Police Departments, as well as the Illinois State Police and the Kankakee County State’s Attorney’s Office.
The listed charges are merely an accusation, and the defendants are
presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
