Here’s your WHPO Sports Update….

Chicago Blackhawks were spanked on the road by the Minnesota Wild, 4-0 last night.  The Hawks hold a 2-1 series lead.  Game 4 is Friday night.
Miami beat Brooklyn 107-86 to take game 1 of that Eastern Conference semi-final series
San Antonio handled Portland 116-92

Cardinals lost to the Braves 2 – 1
White Sox beat the Cubs 5 - 1

Milford beat Schlarman Academy 8 – 3.  Tanner Davenport struck out 8 across 6 innings
Bismarck-Henning beat Hoopeston Area 4 – 3.  Dalton Strawser was 2-3 with an RBI while Dustyn Ingram got the win for the Blue Devils.  The Cornjerker’s Andrew Samet was 1-3 with an RBI.

Bismarck-Henning avenged an earlier season loss, beating Hoopeston Area 12 – 2 in 5 innings.
