College Basketball…

Florida, playing its first game at No. 1, held off Vanderbilt 57-54 on Tuesday night to clinch at least a share of its second straight Southeastern Conference title

#2 Wichita State is 30-0 after beating Bradley 69-49

Big Ten:

#14 Wisconsin beat Indiana 69-58

#20 Iowa lost to Minnesota 95-89


Mike Dunleavy scored 22 points, Joakim Noah had 20 points and 12 rebounds and the Chicago Bulls held off the Atlanta Hawks 107-103 on last night.
Carlos Boozer had 17 points and 11 rebounds for Chicago, and Kirk Hinrich scored 14 points, including six free throws in the final 44 seconds. The Bulls have won six of seven.

Pacers beat the Lakers 118-98

….Hoopeston Area HS Blue Rush club is sponsoring a Sprit Day today and a fan bus for tonight’s 1st round boys Regional basketball game at Watseka.  Students in the district are encouraged to wear red, white & blue to school today….and $5 gets students a ride and ticket to the game.  Call or visit the Hoopeston Area HS office for more information.
