Rookie Russell wilson threw two late touchdowns, connecting with Sidney Rice for a 13-yard score with 7:33 left i9n overtime to lift the Seahawks to a wild 23-17 victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Jay Cutler threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns. Brandon marshall added 165 yards receiving for the Bears who are now 8-4 and travel to NFC North rival Minnesota next.

Andrew luck threw a 14-yard TD pass as time expired to lift the Colts to a 35-33 win over the Detroit Lions. The Colts are 8-4 and stay in control of the AFC wild-card race by winning for the sixth time in seven games.

NCAA Football

Notre Dame and Alabama finished in the top two spots in the final BCS standings released Sunday.
They will face each other for the National Championship on January 9th, 2013.

Wisconsin stunned Nebraska 70-31 on Saturday in the Big Ten title game - the badgers will face Stanford in the Rose Bowl on January 1st, 2013.

College Basketball

Long time college NBA coach Rick Majerus died Saturday. He was 64. majerus last coached St. Louis University, taking 12 teams to the NCAA tournament, winning at least one game in all but one of those appearances, with his 1998 Utah team losing to Kentucky in the NCAA championship game.

MLS Soccer

David Beckham wrapped up his MLS career as a two-time champion Sturday, with Landon donovan’s tiebreaking goal in the 65th minute propelling the LA Galaxy to a 3-1 victory over the Houston Dynamo in the MLS Cup on Saturday.
