Bismarck-Henning beat Georgetown-RF 46 – 33.
Westville 63 – Armstrong-Potomac 27
Salt Fork beat Schlarman 68 – 60
(Bismarck, Westville and Salt Fork are 1-2-3 respectively in a very close VVC boys title race)
Brennan Crose scored seven points in overtime as Hoopeston Area defeated Oakwood 60-57
Crose and Daniel Lawson each had 19 points for the Cornjerkers while Mason Layden had 10 and Nick Papanek added six.
Georgetown-RF held off Hoopeston Area 55 – 52
Olivia Smith had 14 points, three assists, and three steals for Hoopeston Area, who outscored the Buffaloes 37-30 in the second half, while Sarah Dixon had nine points with eight rebounds, Tori Smock had nine points and Shelby Holzinger had seven points and eight rebounds.
Good luck tonight to the Hoopeston Area 7th grade boys basketball team as they travel to Tuscola tonight to take on Tolono in the class 3A IESA Sectional. The winner advances to 1st round play of the State Tournament on Saturday.
