The Hoopeston Area 7th grade boys basketball season ended last night with a 29-28 loss to Tolono at the Class 3A IESA Sectional in Tuscola. The back-and-forth game had the Cornjerkers trailing by 2 after the 1st quarter, leading by 1 at half and tied after 3 quarters. The Team finishes the season 22-3 - winning Conference, County and Regional titles. Congratulations to Coach Dave Cox and his players on a great season.

Samantha Wilken led the Bearcats with 12 points. They travel to Hoopeston tonight for the Lady Cornjerker’s Senior Night
