Brennan Crose led the Cornjerkers with 15 points.
in the 3rd place game… Bismarck-Henning beat Oakwood 56 – 42
and the Championship game, it was Westville over Salt Fork 43 - 34

and it was Armstrong-Potomac knocking off Georgetown-Ridge Farm 37 – 32 in the Championship game.
Johanna Bruens had 10 points and a tournament record 19 rebounds for the Trojans.@ the Sangamon Valley Tournament

and the #1 ranked Class 2A girls team St. Thomas Moore beat Watseka 66 – 38 for the tournament championship.
Congratulations to coach Kendra Milliken and the Hoopeston Area High School cheerleading squad that placed 4th in the Vermilion County cheer competition on Saturday. They placed behind Oakwood, Bismarck-Henning and Salt Fork.
