BCS Championship game – Alabama led 28-0 at half and never looked back as they easily took the college football championship beating Notre Dame 42-14.  The Crimson Tide has won 3 BCS titles in the last 4 years.

College Basketball…

Unbeaten Duke and Michigan hold the top two spots in The Associated Press’ college basketball poll for the fourth straight week.
Louisville overtook unbeaten Arizona to be ranked third. Completing the top 10 are Indiana, Kansas, Syracuse, Minnesota, Gonzaga and Missouri.

#5 Indiana handled Penn State 74 – 51
Notre Dame 66 – Cincinnati 60

Carlos Boozer had 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 118-92 rout of the Cleveland Cavaliers
