Hoopeston Area kicked off its first non-coop, Class 1A season in years last night…beating Class AA Champaign Centennial 2 – 0.  Andrew Samet scored in the first half off a David Cornelius assist.  Senior Brennan Crose had the other goal, unassisted, in the 2nd half.  Hoopeston travels to Mahomet Saturday for the annual Bulldog Classic.

Bismarck-Henning won their first soccer match ever as a program… beating Georgetown-RF 5-2.  Drake Swinford had 2 goals and 1 assist….Hannah Story had 2 assists.

Watseka beat Westville 25-23 and 25-9

Hoopeston Area lost to Fisher, but beat Christ Lutheran at the Cissna Park Timberwolves tip-off classic


the Cards lost to the Reds 6 – 1

Cubs held on to beat the Dodgers 3 - 2

the White Sox beat the Astros 4 - 3
