Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers struck a deal Wednesday on a six-year contract extension, which sources say is worth more than $110 million—including a record $61 million guaranteed.The deal ties Kaepernick to the 49ers through the 2020 season and puts him among the 10 highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL.
Reigning MVP Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder was the only unanimous selection on the All-NBA first team. Joining Durant on the 1st team include: Lebron James, James Harden, Chris Paul, and the Bulls’ Joakim Noah.
Danville Dans pitcher CJ Burdick tossed a no-hitter as the Dans blanked Springfield 6-0.
and Another professional sports team is coming to Danville. The Danville Riverhawks Professional Basketball Club will join the city which already hosts the Danville Dans Baseball team of the Prospect League and the Dashers of the Federal Hockey League.
The Riverhawks are slated to play 10 regular season home games at the David S. Palmer Arena starting next January. What league the team will play in will be determined in the next few weeks. And though previously mentioned in other media reports, former DACC men’s basketball coach and current Milford HS Athletic Director and head boys baskeball coach John Spezia is NOT involved with the Danville Riverhawks and intends to stay with the Milford school district.
