Chicago could not contain Drew Brees and the New Orleans passing attack as the Saints beat the Bears 26-18 to move to 5 – 0.  The Bears dropped their 2nd straight and have a quick turnaround as the NY Giants come to Chicago for Thursday night football. 
The Colts rallied in the 4th quarter to beat the Seahawks 34 – 28
Tony Romo threw for 506 yards but Peyton Manning and the Broncos still beat the Cowboys in a shootout 51 – 48
Arizona 22 – Carolina 6
Eagles beat the Giants 36 – 21
Baltimore 26 – Miami 23
St. Louis 34 – Jacksonville 20
Kansas City beat Tennessee 26 – 17
Green Bay 22 – Detroit 9
Bengals upset the Patriots 13 – 6
San Francisco beat Houston 34 - 3
San Diego lost to Oakland 27 - 17

Pirates beat the Cardinals 5-3 yesterday to take a 2-1 lead in the NL Division Series

Dodgers thumped the 13 – 6 Braves.  They also lead their series 2 games to 1.


NASCAR…

Kevin Harvick moved to 3rd in the Sprint Cup points chase after winning at Kansas Speedway Sunday.

Hoopeston Area lost to Iroquois West 2 - 0
soccer….Saturday
Bismarck-Henning beat Clifton-Central 5 – 2.
Hoopeston Area beat Iroquois West 9 – 1.  Nathan Michael had 2 goals and 2 assists as the Cornjerkers moved to 15-2 overall.  A win at Salt Fork tomorrow night will give them sole possession of the 2013 VVC title.
