did you hear…? Warren Buffett is offering $1 billion to anyone who picks the perfect NCAA bracket. Quicken Loans Inc. announced Tuesday that it will team with investor Buffett’s Omaha, Neb.,-based Berkshire Hathaway on the “Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge.” The Detroit-based mortgage lender says any qualified entrant who correctly predicts the winners of every game in the tournament will be paid in 40 annual installments of $25 million.

Vermilion Co. Tournament:
Hoopeston Area lost to Oakwood 44 – 28. Tori Smock led the Cornjerkers with 8 pts.
Bismarck-Henning beat Salt Fork 39-32 to advance to the Championship game. Blue Devil Junior Brooke Walsh scored 10 of her game-high 14 points in the second half and she also pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds. Walsh was also 6-of-10 at the free-throw line in the fourth quarter.
Bismarck will face Armstrong-Potomac in the Championship, after the Trojans defeated Westville 46-34.
