North Carolina A&T beat 15-20 Liberty to earn the privilege of facing overall #1 seed Louisville in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament tomorrow.

in the other play-in game….St. Mary’s beat Mid Tennessee 67 - 54

And defending national champion Kentucky couldn’t make it out of the first round of the NIT, even as the #1 seed…losing to Robert Morris 59 – 57.


Pacers beat the Magic 95 – 73

Milwaukee beat Portland 102 – 95

Denver got by OKC 114 – 104….the 13th straight win for the Nuggets

Sacramento beat the LA Clippers 116 – 101


The St. Louis Blues lost at Vancouver 3 – 2. 


The Dominican Republic won the World Baseball Classic, beating Puerto Rico 3 – 0. 

Pre-season baseball:

The Cubs beat the Rangers 5 – 4

The White Sox lost to the Reds 10 - 6

and the Cardinals beat the Marlins 5 – 4

Hoopeston Stingrays Swim Team is signups and swimsuit fittings will be held on Saturday, March 23 from 10-2 at the Hoopeston Masonic Lodge. A final
signup will be held on Saturday, April 27 from 10-2 at the Hoopeston Masonic Lodge.
Youth who will be age 6 by September 1, 2013 through age 18 who can swim freestyle (front crawl) 50 yards may join the team. Registration fee is $40 for one
