College Wrestling…

Illinois’ Jesse Delgado (seeded second at 125 pounds) and Conrad Polz (seeded seventh at 165) advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships after winning their second-round wrestling matches Thursday night.

 

Local Sports….

Hoopeston Stingrays Swim Team is signups and swimsuit fittings will be held on Saturday, March 23 from 10-2 at the Hoopeston Masonic Lodge.
Youth who will be age 6 by September 1, 2013 through age 18 who can swim freestyle (front crawl) 50 yards may join the team. Registration fee is $40 for one
