Carlos Boozer had 29 points and 18 rebounds, Nate Robinson made the go-ahead basket with 22 seconds left, and the Chicago Bulls overcame a 16-point deficit to beat the Brooklyn Nets 92-90 on Thursday night.

The St. Louis Blues beat the Chicago Blackhawks in a 4 – 3 shootout victory last night
Trey Burke, the sophomore point guard who led Michigan to the Final Four, has been selected The Associated Press’ college basketball player of the year.
Burke joins Cazzie Russell in 1966 as the only Michigan players to win the award. Burke was also the Big Ten Player of the Year.
Clifton Central beat Cissna Park 11 – 10.
East Central beat Hoopeston Area 10 – 8. Connor Cline was 3-for-3 with a grandslam and 8 RBIs for the Cornjerkers in the loss.
GCMS beat Armstrong-Potomac 11 – 0

Youth Sport announcements:
• The last sign-up for the girls softball will be Sunday, April 7, from 11-2 at Hoopeston City Hall.
• Hoopeston Stingrays Swim Team is registering swimmers for the Summer 2013 season. Signups and swimsuit fittings will be held on Wednesday, April 10 from 6-8 p.m. at the Hoopeston Masonic Lodge. A final signup will be held on Saturday, April 27 from 10-12 at the Hoopeston Masonic Lodge
• Hoopeston Area spring basketball camp for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will be held at the middle school gym every Monday and Thursday nights 6:-7:30, starting April 15 and ending May 16. Cost is $35 for the camp, which is designed to improve individual skills. There will be no games or scrimmages at this camp. Registration forms can be picked up in the high school or John Greer office. Walk-ins welcomed. For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org
